You should water the tree more since it needs a lot of water and transfer it to an area of full sun. You should also fertilize it at least two times in a year during hot months with a water-soluble fertilizer. Trim the brown and drooping leaves. It could also be due to a fungal infection.

You should fertilize at least two times in a year during hot months with a water soluble fertilizer, when the tree grows. We will trim the old, brown leaves. Move the Pygmy palm tree outside during hot weather. Keep the soil moist, don't over water it.

The answer to this is simple, just lots of fresh water. They also need fertilizer during the hot months when the soil is heated and devoid of minerals and food for the tree.
