Take the Honda 450 Foreman to your local honda repair dealer ship and tell them that it will not go into gear. Knowing the make and model of the Foreman will help the process along. Also a detailed analysis of any other reoccurring problems that happen with the Foreman will also help.

The oldest trick in the book is to try rocking it backwards and forwards a little while trying to shift it into a gear. Most times that will work. If it doesn't, then you have a much larger problem on your hands.

There could be a problem with the battery. Try rocking it back and forth. Try charging the battery after checking the shift indicator on the dash board.

It sounds like your 450 Foreman has transmission problems. You can try to buy a quart of transmission repair fluid and see what happens. If this doesn't solve the problem, you may have to get the tranny rebuilt.
