What do frogs eat?

I am going to try to have frogs for pets.

The short answer is... Anything they can fit in their mouths. The majority of frogs eat insects such as crickets, roaches and fruit flies depending on the size of the frog. Some larger species can even eat small mammals, such as rat pups. Good luck with your new pet!

Most of them eat bugs and worms. Look up your species to find out exactly. I recommend you just take up frog watching instead of keeping one as a pet.

Frog feed will vary by species. Your common american frog will eat mostly insects such as moths, flies etc. The larger exotic frogs like african bullfrogs eat those as well as small fish and mammals.
