In order to be more friendly, websites should first avoid complicated registration and user verification like processes. Displaying many number of links may confuse a beginner. Using high quality graphics or flash may take time to load which may tense the user. These things should be avoided to make the websites user friendly.

Use fewer applets, which can interfere with someone's Java settings. Fewer pop ups would help users by decreasing annoyances and reduces avenues for malicious software to be installed on your site and then infect users.

For a website to become more user friendly must use words that are familiar in every nation that we have, use standard international language. And you can use user friendly buttons and avoid so many ads on your website this will make users irritable and make sure that you are using attractive pictures

Websites could be more user friendly if their interfaces were easier to use. Large, easy to read buttons, a nice well thought out layout and a site map section help.

Have fewer links. I see alot of websites that have a ton of links and you never know where you are being directed to.
