Usually loss of appetite comes from being ill, and in some cases depression. I think that your cat is most likely ill and needs to see a Vet.

I have 5 cats, they are just like humans if its really warm they may not feel like eating, if its cold and they feel a little depressed they wont eat much if anything. Or it just may not feel well. It might be time for a vet check.

A beloved cat may lose its appetite and stop eating due to a variety of illnesses,stress related conditions or just old age.

It is usually related to some stomach sickness but could also be related to mood, old age, or simply that your cat does not enjoy that type of food.
