What could be the cause of heel numbness?

I have had numbness in my heels for the past several days and have not been able to determine the cause.

walking or standing wearing the high heels for a long time, walking around using uncomfortable shoes or slippers, sitting in the same posture for a long period of time.

Your heel might have either come in contact with ice or chilly substance / muscle pain or tear skin sort.

Could possibly be a pinched nerve or a strained muscle in your Achilles tendon. This happens fairly often in people who run or walk a lot. Hope that helps.
