What could be going on, I am pregnant and have very sharp pains and pressure?

This could be ligament stretching from the baby growing and putting pressure on your stomach. A warm bath should help you feel better.

You should always call your doctor's office if you have pain and pressure in the abdomen or crotch area while pregnant. It's possible to go into pre-term labor and they need to stop it, if it's too early to deliver, and keep your baby healthy.

Sharp pains can be a sign of back muscle spasms. However, the "pressure" is an early sign of labor starting. Call your doctor.
