If the TV is hooked up to a digital cable box using HDMI, this is probably due to an incompatibility between the box and the TV. You may be able to resolve this by switching from a high def channel to a low def, and then back to high. This may get your box and TV back into sync.

It's most likely that there's a loose connection. Check the wires that lead into the TV, push them in firmly and replace any which make a crackling sound.

Your remote control could be broken, remove the batteries and see if the problem persists. There may be a loose wire to your reciever or speakers, check the connections.

It may be caused by a loose/broken wire, which could be from wear due to age, or from some sort of impact, or perhaps a factory error.

It could be that your sound on your tv is going out. If you are concerned the best thing to do is to call the company who made it and see if they can help.

There may be a short in the wiring somewhere. If you have a loose wire, the connection can come and go because of small vibrations, causing the sound to switch on and off seemingly randomly.

Well if the sound is coming off and on that means there is some kind of defect in your television set. Therefore, you want to be calling customer service and using your warranty.
