What could be causing blisters on my hands?

It could be a reaction with a chemical from something your hands came in contact with. This may also be from some sort of friction. This may also be from a heat source from which you were not aware of. This could be from contact with gloves or clothing that you were not aware of.

Blisters are usually caused by friction. If you are doing some sort of repetitive motion, that will cause blisters until the skin hardens and callouses form. Try thinking about your activities within the last couple of days; see if they match the blister locations on your hands.

There are many irritants and situations that can cause blisters. However I would not discount an allergic reaction topical or otherwise. Check to see if there is anything that you may have touched causing irritation. A visit to the Dr. may be able to help pinpoint the cause as well.

Blister can generate from extended pressure/friction on certain parts of the hand/body. Do you wear tight-fitting gloves often? Are you constantly working with your hands? Good luck.

Weather can cause all kinds of skin problems. Dry skin left untreated and then aggrivated by use can cause blisters and then callouses.
