What could be causing a metallic taste in my mouth?

It could be just a small amount of blood seaping out,try to brush with a softer bristle.Also try to refrain from getting any abrasion to rub.

The metallic taste could be caused by metal fillings in your teeth or from certain medications. I had the same problem last year and mine was caused from the prednisone I was taking along with antibiodics for an inner ear infection. After I stopped taking the prednisone the taste went away after a week or so.

There are many things that can cause a metallic taste in your mouth, including pregnancy and medication. If there is no chance you are pregnant then look into any change sin diet and medication.
