As far as I now, you may see white stools when a dog has been fed raw bones. If this is an ongoing condition, you have to let it be checked by a Vet, it can be something more serious.

This can be due to consumption of 'white' treats such as bones, the doggy treats that look like bones (Bonz is one) or may be due to a problem with the pancreas, liver, or gallbladder. If you know its not food then a vet trip is needed.

If a dog has white stools it may have kidney problems or problems with its gastrointestinal tract. There are an array of issues that could be related from pancreatitis to dehydration. Any of the issues generally accompany other side effects. Consult your vet.

It means there is a lack of bile. Bile is stored in the liver or biliary tract. the white stool keeps it's color from the bile excreted by the liver. When there is a lack of bile, the tool turns white.

Are the stools dry and chalky as well, or normal except for colour? White stool can be a sign of kidney trouble, too much calcium (from bones or a completely raw diet) or dehydration, among other things. The best way to find out is to take your dog to a vet for a checkup and stool sample analysis.

it is probably something that the dog ate, something with a food coloring in it. if it continues you should take the dog to a vet.

The bone part of the diet causes this. Make sure that your pet is getting enough water for hydration and and avoid giving meat and uncooked foods.
