What causes shadows on a projection TV?

Cause: Magnetic source too close to the tv. Probably a loudspeaker or something with a magnet in it. Move the magnetic object away from the tv.

As far as I know, those are not shadows, but more likely magnetic disturbances. They were probably caused by a magnet getting too close to the screen.

There are 3 lenses inside, red green and blue. At some point and the lenses became misaligned. Some models have an onscreen menu that will adjust this. If you can't find one you will need to adjust them manually by turning the alignment screws inside the tv near the lens, one for each lens, until the images match up.
