Missed miscarriages are caused usually by chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus, such as those caused by poor sperm or egg quality or abnormal cell division.

Most miscarriages go unexplained. I have read and heard that most women miscarry their first pregnancy. I personally have had 2 miscarriages. My first pregnancy and my 3rd pregnancy both at 6 weeks. It was just something in my body that would not allow the fetuses to grow. I was never given a specific reason. I have 3 kids now.

Gosh, if you miss a miscarriage then the only cause would be you are still pregnant! The cause of a missed miscarriage would be that you are a healthy woman and you are (probably) carrying a genetically healthy fetus (baby).

Um no. A missed miscarriage means that you miscarried and don't know it.  add a comment
