What causes hot flashes in men?

Yes, men can have hot flashes and the number one cause is less testosterone production. In prostate cancer therapy, hot flashes are very common because the therapy alters the testosterone hormone on account of the hormone fuels the cancer. Just the aging process can also make for male hot flashes.

Causes can include andropause (male menopause in men - hormonal changes as a man ages)and environmental exposure to excessive heat or cold (flashes occur as the body tries to adjust).
