My doctor said they are common but I never heard of such a thing.

My doctor told me that mine were most likely caused by an old injury. Different infections can also caused calcifications.

An old injury could cause this. Also, an infection could be the cause. A dilated milk duct could cause this. Dermatitis or residue from powders or deodorants can be the culprit.
