Women need to be careful about where they have tattoos placed on their bodies. Especially in the areas most prone to weight gain or stretching (hips, waist, belly, rear end). I have a tattoo on my stomach that was ruined by stretch marks when I became pregnant with my daughter.

Getting a tattoo on your hips be look attractive and flirtatious, but any area where the amount of fat fluctuates is a sign that the tattoo could stretch out or become misshapen and deformed as you age and your BMI changes.

Tattoos on the hips, or other parts of the body that change over time, will be streteched with weight loss, sagging, or pregnancy. The tattoo will not shrink back to its origonal form. You will have to either except the change in appearance or have another tattoo draw onto the stretched tattoo.

Well the skin is a living thing. So if you gain or loose a lot of weight then tattoos can slightly distort over time.
