A lot of people that suffer from restless legs find putting soap under the bottom sheet very helpful and actually works.

People with restless leg syndrome have a lot of trouble sleeping. Apparently sleeping with an unwrapped bar of soap (I've seen Ivory recommended frequently) seems to help. No one is able to explain why this strange technique works, but home remedy websites and even nurses' blogs agree that it does.

There are many people who claim they can control the symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome by placing an unused, unwrapped bar of soap underneath their bed sheets, near their legs. Some say that the brand of soap doesn't matter while many others claim that Ivory Soap works best.

Indication is you take a regular bar of soap and place it under the bottom sheet toward the end of bed. Some think it increases the blood flow (acts as a massage when changing positions while sleeping). Concensus seems to be that Dove is the best. It also needs to be unwrapped. Soap needs to have rounded edges.

A good soap will cure your restless legs only temporarily. Try and find a good soap with minolin in it, that will help a lot.

If you have restless legs, your legs are probably pretty dirty. Soap is used to clean off things like dirt from your legs and other parts of your body. If you scrub vigorously enough, eventually your legs will stop moving. You might also want to try driving around for a while.
