Too much protein in your thyroid is not a good thing. The more protein in your thyroid the more hyperactive your thyroid will be. That means you should lose weight more easily than most people and not have control over how much weight you lose. You might have a hyper-thyroid.

A C-Reactive Protein test that measures high protein make indicate inflammation and infection may be present in diseases such as in Hashimoto's disease where the body attacks the thyroid.

I don't know anything about thyroid health, in general. I find it interesting that a high protein diet might affect your thyroid in a palliative manner or otherwise. An unbalanced thyroid can lead to many uncomfortable, unhealthy symptoms. A high protein diet is good for upping your metabolism which, in turn, is good for a healthy thyroid.
