You should not worry about this. Many children start changing teeth early, around five. Just tell your child that a new stronger one will soon grow instead.

If this is the child's first loose tooth, I would say the child is completely normal. It may be a little early, but five is pretty normal. Kids are all different. Some are early and some are very late. As long as they are loosing the teeth and adult ones are coming in, you have nothing to worry about.

One need not worry about losing tooth in a early age of five years. If the tooth loss happens on its own accord it would make new tooth to emerge. It is a normal tendency of the body.

It is possible that a 5yo could lose their lower or upper central incisors at age 5 though its more common from age 6-7.
