A range of jobs in law enforcement, the U. S. Census Bureau, human resources for corporations, corrections, social organizations, government agencies and non-profits are open to people with an associate degree in sociology.

Most careers that make use of sociology will require at least a bachelor's degree. However, having a degree of any sort will make it easier to get any job.

You may be able to get some lower level work with social services, but you very likely will want to consider getting your B.A. so that more positions (social worker, teacher etc) will open up to you. You are half way there, so be sure to keep that in mind. Remember: one class at a time till you're done!

I can get employment in social security department, can work with the doctors to help them understand their patients from different communities and can serve in schools to help the learners from different social backgrounds further more can work with the non governmental organisations to up grade the education, health care and other social sectors of developing communities.

You can become a counselor working with a non-profit or you could become a teacher in an extension program or, you could become a tutor.
