What can I expect from a diagnosis of Kidney Cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes?

If the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes this means that the lymph system has transported the cancer cells to other organs in the body. The lesser the number of lymph nodes that are positive for cancer then the better chance of it not having spread to other organs.

If cancer has spread to the lymph nodes than the affected lymph nodes will be removed and send for biopsy to find out wether they are malignant or not. After surgery once it heals up chemotherapy will be started depending on the sitution. Start your treatment as soon as possible.
