Chlorine level can be reduced with sodium thiosulfate. You must determine the volume of your pool, calculate the amount of sodium thiosulfate needed with respect to the volume of your pool, dilute the sodium thiosulfate in a five gallon bucket of water, walk around the pool while pooring the solution in evenly, and run your circulation system for two hours.

You have a few options. You can wait for level to go down naturally or use a PH Balance product or you can use a product called after shock.

The best way I know to bring the levels down is to add water or try to backwash the pool then add water sometimes if you vaccuum the pool really well the leves will drop or change the filter in the pump those are just a few things you can try.
