If there is no air blowing from the vents, then the blower motor is not working. Look for a bad fuse, motor, or switch.

First check the fuses for the heating and cooling system. Check for any blockage in the vents. If these are ok than you should check to see if the blower motor is working. On the windstar it's usually the blower motor that has quit working and needs to be replaced.

Possible culprits for this problem are a broken HVAC louver switch, bad blower motor, bad blower motor switch, or a broken or missing engine vacuum line.

just charge the a/c system. when the freon gets low, the a/c compressor shuts off automatically, so that the compontents will not burn out. bottom line, recharge the system with feon, that has oil, and a sealer in the charge
