There can be several reasons for droopy lids. Is he/she shedding? Sometimes, my beardie will get droopy lids before he finally sheds his head skin.

Try cleaning the eye with sterile saline such as what is used for contact lenses, he could just have something in his eye. It could also be because the bearded dragon is dehydrated.

It depends on what the diagnosis for your Bearded Dragon is. Unfortunately, many things can be causing this: parasites, infection, poor husbandry, a virus, and malnutrition are just a handful of the possibilities. Take your Bearded Dragon to its vet as soon as possible. In the meantime, make sure his or her living area is clean and warm.

Dogs can have the droopy eyelid which is commonly called as Ectropion where the fluid would droop from the eyelid. This cause poor vision and other complications. For this complication they have to prescribe anti biotic fluid drops. Apart from eye drops it has to undergo an eye stain treatment.

Ectropion will occur in the lower eyelid which rolls out. Surgery to tighten the eyelid is necessary if the symptoms are severe. If lower lid droops severely then infection in eye such as conjunctivitis may occur. The vetnary doctor will prescribe antibiotic drops. Conjunctivitis is highly contagious and it may spread to human beings.
