I was bitten by a praying mantis.

They don't have venom or anything that is injected into the bite so you shouldn't have to worry about toxins. Just clean the bite area. If you do have an allergic reaction I would see a doctor.

Generally speaking praying mantis don't bite. You were probably clamped by the spines on its forelegs. Try some ointment.
