You can rest the elbow, treat it with anti inflammatory drugs (motrin etc) and apply ice packs to reduce the swelling. If it seriously impairs the joint it can be drained but this is very painful.

Alternative Medicine such as 'Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine' will naturally help this condition by leaching out the 'unwanted' water from the elbow through urination.

You can use ice to to treat the swelling. Also try wrapping the area with an ace bandage. That helps to protect the elbow and soaks up any draining. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory medication that you can take to ease the pain and discomfort. It will typically go away in about a week or two.

Take antibiotics and elevate your elbow to reduce swelling and inflammation. Apply ice and take over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Avoid using your elbow during the healing process so as to not reverse it.

You will have to go to the doctor, the doctor can drain it for you. The doctor would be able to help you better with this problem. It could be anything causing it. I'm sure it will have to be drained though. The doctor should check it out, and help you with the problem.

It can be wiped off!. If the water is inside the elbow, you have to show to the ortho. This is something unique, where-ever water is on the top of the body, it can be wiped off!.
