Soreness after any workout is common. The best treatments are ice for swelling and rest. If you can rest and relax after you should be fine in a couple days.

first of all you should check with team trainer or doctor for any injury. If no injury is found and only muscle soreness the treatment i have used is a ice bath followed by warm bath.

It depends on what has happened, but in all sports, you will have soreness, and it's the same for every sport: simply ice the muscle or joint and give it some rest.
