What can I do about mole damage on my lawn?

If they are still in your lawn you need to trap them and get rid of the the problem first. If you have that taken care of and are dealing with runs and mounds in your lawn you need to get your lawn rolled when the ground is pliable.

Trapping is the most effective way of getting rid of moles. Be sure to follow the instructions of the trap carefully to discard of the animals in a humane way.

Moles don't damage lawns. They eat grubs, NOT grass, roots, bulbs, flowers, ground glass or chewing gum. They also do not walk on razor blades. Let the moles eat the dangers grubs that DO ruin lawns, then they move on. You can step on tunnels to gently push them down.

the first thing you need to do is get rid of the mole. then tamp down the tunnels and possibly put down some new grass seed.
