What can be done about a severed spinal cord?

Severed spinal cords lead to a disconnect between the brain and anything below. This needs medical care and very complete following of care advice to minimise any damage if possible.

One can have surgery to repair the spinal cord but due to the nature of the injury more times then others lost bodily functions from the injury may not ever be restored. When concerning the spinal cord, there are too many nerved that can be damaged. Once the damage is done it is near impossible to fix.

A severed spinal cord is very serious and requires extensive medical care. Normally surgery. However, a lot of times nothing can be done and paralysis occurs.

Nothing can be done. Just take care fo yourself and get enough rest. You can also try heat therapy which will help you.

This is a serious condition and will probably damaged your back for the rest of your life. Doctor could put a brace on for support and give you some exercises to keep rest of your body as healthly as they can keep it. Keep your spirits strong and let your friends help you in whatever way they can.
