This artist employed the use of cubism, expressionism, abstraction, orientalism, and surrealism in his pieces, which sometimes makes the art difficult to classify into one area! He was truly at his best when mixing oil, watercolor, ink, etc. He was a visionary artist, so there was no one favorite medium.
