What are ways to soften leather?

I have a new leather jacket, but right now it is so stiff. I want that soft and worn in look right away.

You could try a product called Neatsfoot Oil which works extremely good. Another method I've heard of but haven't tried myself is using a beeswax product like the creams.

Softening leather is kind of hard. But to soften you must of course wear it, so just wear it around the house and such. But also you can knead the jacket and it will make it softer and it give it that worn look that everybody likes so very much.

Apply mink oil with a cotton on the outer surface of the leather and let it exposed to sun one day. It will become soft by evening.

Normally, leather used to be dipped in urine to soften it and the smell never quite went away. Try rubbing a little olive oil into the inside of them (assuming they are not lined). If they are really tough tap the oil into the inner side of the leather very gently with a ball-peen hammer.
