Remember there are plenty of Parker shotguns available for sale - they are not exactly rare. So you can make good money only if the condition is good. Get a good upmarket gun shop to check the condition and offer a rate. Keep that as minimum and look for buyers.  add a comment

Are you looking to buy one or sell one? If you're looking to buy one you'll need to assess the condition of the Parker shotgun before you offer a price or clinch the deal. How good are you with technically assessing a shotgun condition? If you're not good get help!

The value depends on whether it's a short barrel, straight English stock and assorted features and options. Refer to the "Blue Book of Gun Values," which covers all the models.

Parker shotguns can range anywhere from a few hundred dollars to somewhere in the ten thousand dollar range. The determining factors are the grade and condition. For example, the lowest price guns were the Trojan grade models. Grades after the trojan are: vh, vhe, phe, ghe, dhe, che, bhe, ahe, aahe, a-1 special grade.

It depends on if your shotgun in double barreled, split action, slide action or semi-automatic. Split action is the least valuable, semi-atuo the most.

What year was it manufactured and how would you rate the condition of the shotgun. These two will determine the actual cost at which people will buy it from you. The better the quality, the better the price - quite logical, right!

Depending on the condition of the shotgun, the value of a Parker can range from about $300 on the low end to upwards of $7000 for one in good condition. Because these are shotguns are rare and very valuable, it is recommended to take it to have it appraised in person by an expert in antique guns.

Parker shotguns are highly collectible. You should take extra care to find the correct value of your shotgun. There are books that list the blue book value of all guns. Another good place to look is at an area gun show. You could take you gun to several different dealers to get an accurate value.
