To enlist in the Navy you have to have graduated high school, also have to have a clean drug test, and nothing to bad on your criminal record. There are also physical and mental tests you have to take in order to be considered as a recruit in the Navy.

Age between 17 and 34 years. Less than 18 years old requires parental consent. You must be a US Citizen. The Navy will not accept single parents and generally not accept an individual with more than 2 dependants under the age of 18. See recruiter for educational requirements.

You must be a US citizen or resident alien, pass a medical physical, and pass the Navy fitness test. You must also have a high school diploma, although a GED is sometimes accepted upon recieving a waiver.
