What are the symptoms of Gingivitis?

Symptoms of Gingivitis may include mouth ulcers, bleeding gums, bad breath, difficulty chewing, mouth lesions and swollen, painful or red gums.

Gums that are red, swollen, tender, bleeding, or separated from teeth can all indicate Gingivitis. Bad breath is another common symptom. Proper oral hygiene and/or professional treatment can easily reverse Gingivitis. The only way you could lose your teeth is if you didn't treat the symptoms at all.
