The only known side effects of natural ginseng appear to be positive in nature, i.e. increased blood-flow, natural free-radical capturing anti-oxidants, and improved energy and stamina are the primary benefits. All natural asian ginseng has been used for centuries in the Far East, with positive results. As with any herbal supplement, use in modertation is important.

One of the most common side-effects of ginseng is the sleeplessness. Other side-effects are nausea, diarrhea and high blood pressure. Ginseng should not be taken if you are on antidepressant as the combination can cause mania in some people.
