You are having what is called breakthrough bleeding. You should consult a physician about this condition. I know that it must be very disruptive to your life to have spotting on an off. It could be an infection. Please call your doctor as soon as possible.

The short-term effects can be depression, dizziness, sweating, feelings of unreality, slowed breathing, headache, dry mouth, sweating, mood changes and loss of appetite. The long term effects can be can lead to physical dependence and addiction. And last... death can happen if your friend does not stop. Good luck :)

Your friend should seek help right away. If they have a severe addiction, side effects could be from mild to lifethreatening, including naueasa, vomiting, dehydration, itingrapid heart rate, difficulty breathing, and even unconsciousness. Addicts can even have repeated seizures. Withdrawels are severe and treatment will be needed to get off the pills/
