What are the rules for snowball fights?

It varies depending on the age of those playing, but most of the time there are very few rules. The only one that I find to be prevalent is not to throw ice balls, as they tend to lead to cuts, bruises and crying children. I would also make sure to avoid any yellow snow throwing.

There are many unspoken rules when it comes to snowball fights. The first being not to throw ice balls at other. While most of these rules are common sense, many do not adhere to them. Another rule is to not aim for the face but this rule can be broken.
