There are many rights. These rights are posted online in many places and the estate attorney can advise. Beneficiaries must be notified of activity and details of accounting, filings, review/dispute/approval of compensation of the executor, and the right to dispute the actions or performance of the executor and file with the court to have the executor removed.

The rights of a beneficiary of an estate are financial proceeds and informational disclosures that they deserve and this needs to be litigated by a attorney. They have all rights via contract. All of the requests stated in the contract need to be met in accordance with the law.

You have a right to the list of assets or belongings you will be receiving. You can request an accounting that the executor has created and contest their fees.

Your right is only to what is specifically spelled out in the will. The estate may have to take care of debts before the remainder is distributed to the beneficiary. The will may have stipulations for age or multiple disbursments, or can be a trust with specific rules. They can sometimes be overridden in court, but this is sometimes difficult.
