The State Board of Education establishes the requirements for its teachers. Additionally, local school boards may have other requirements. If you take your education degree in an Oklahoma school, the program will direct you down the appropriate paths to be ready for licensing and certification.

You will need to obtain a Bachelors Degree. Oklahoma does not require any undergraduate credit hour requirements, as some states do. As alternative certification, the state of Oklahoma accepts the ABCTE certification for teacher certification. You must also pass the Oklahoma General Education test.

You need a bachelor's degree in education and take the teacher's certification test. Other states certifications may transfer over depending on which state.

I do believe that to be a teacher in the state of Oklahoma yo need at least a bachelors degree which would be 4 years of college, but if you go for the doctors degree which is 4 more years you'll get a better chance of having a job position and maybe even better pay.

OPTE and in some cases, OSAT tests are required to get your teaching certificate. You must also pass the Basic Skill Test requirement, then submit a teaching certificate application.

Well you have to basically write your exams and you have to be certified. You also need to volunteer as a teacher. You of course will need your bachelors of education to teach anywhere.
