What are the native American meanings for the different colors?

I love the colorful headdresses and would like to know what the colors mean.

Examples: Red (Faith), Blue (Intuition), Pink (Creativity), Purple (Wisdom), Orange (Learning), Yellow (Love), White (Magnetism), Gray (Honoring), Brown (Knowing), Rose (Seeing), Black (Hearing). Color meaning can change based on tribes.

Headdresses are mainly worn by chiefs and medicine men of the plains indians. The colors vary from family to family, in indian country it is referred to as family colors. The colors red, white, and blue are used a lot by millitary veterans.
