Some kind of anestesia, either consious (they are awake but won't remember and don't care) or general (full sleep). They go through the mouth an make incisional cuts for the romval. Stiches to close the wounds. reversal of the anestesia and post-op monitoring. Soft diet for a few days.

When having your tonsils & Adenoids removed you are put under general anesthesia. A Surgeon then removes the tonsils & adenoids with a scalpel and cauterizes the area to stop bleeding.
