What are the Marine MOS, Military Occupational Specialty , choices?

I will be joining the Marines soon and would like to learn more about what types of jobs I can have?

I've seen so many people asking what the best MOS is. I must say that it depends entirely on what you want to do and what your expectations are. So look at both the names and the descriptions before you decide what is best for you.

There are just a lot - lemme name a few: Aviation Mech, Adjutant, Ground Intelligence, Human Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, Air Intelligence, Infantry, Logistics, Ground Supply. Get a list for the official website and see what you are interested in. Infantry seems quite popular.

The best way to find out about the different MOS' in the USMC is to check out the Marines website to contact a recruiter as there are numerous MOS'.

About 50% of applicants get their first choice. Others get second choices or evn lower preferences - do discuss it with someone familiar and then apply. add a comment
