It has long been assumed that long term smoking can lead to memory loss, some kinds of cancer and other illnesses. People think because it is grown naturally then it should be safe but that has been found that is not the case.

Some of the major long term effects of smoking marijuana are short term memory loss and lung cancer. Although people say it's harmless when you smoke a joint it is equivalent to 3 cigarettes in the damage it does to your lungs.
