What are the laws about burials in Utah?

It seems at this point that a funeral director needs to be involved in Utah, though there are cases in front of the courts to challenge this. You need to consult your local court, and if you are Native American, different statutes apply.

Burials have to take place in a state licensed cemetery. A concrete vault is generally required, as is a casket.
