Lilies belong to Lilium genus. It contains popular ones like Easter Lily, Tiger Lily. The Calochortus genus, ranks among the most diverse, and most beautiful. Some species, like garlic and chive, are grown as vegetables. Other species, like Death Camas, are poisonous, and not a good choice for gardeners with inquisitive pets, especially cats. Trillium, grows well in shaded areas.

There are approximately 7 different types of lilies. They are the American hybrid, the Margaton hybrid, Asiatic hybrid, Candium hybrid, Trumpet and Aurelian hybrids, Species lily, and the Goldband lily.

I don't know if I can list them all... but here is what I have: Bluedicks, Firecracker Flower, Ookow, Pink Diamond, Giant Purple Wakerobin, Small-flowered Trillium, Queens Cup Lily, Western Trillium, Tiger Lily, Crag Lily, Flower Power, Checker Lily, Yellow Bells, Avalanche Lily, Fairy Lanterns, Twisted Stalk, Giant White Fawn Lily and Pink Fawn Lily.

Asiatic lilies grow early in summer; orientals late in summer. Garden lilies include easter lily, and tiger lily. Native include calochortus and species. Garlic and chive are grown as vegetables.

Containing colors like pink,red,yellow,white,plum and orange. Candium hybrid, rare type of lilies. Trumpet and Aurelian hybrid,full of fragrance. Species lily,Wild lilies. Normally found in America,Europe and Asia. Goldband lily,known for being large flower. This type is fragrant.
