There are many different kinds of flying bugs. What you see will depend on where you live. The most common ones are flies, mosquitoes, black-flies and gnats. Larger ones could include dragonflies, June bugs, moths and butterflies. Most can be easily identified by their size, color and other distinguishing features.

You have your regular house fly, whom fly outside in your yard as well! Then you have your ever-annoying mosquito. Most are inoffensive. Just really annoying!
