What are the best computers on the market?

For Mac's I recommend the 13" MacBook Pro. It's expensive, but comes with everything you need. For PCs I recommend the Lenovo (formerly IBM) laptops. If you want a netbook, HP makes some tiny, inexpensive machines. For desktops, Dells have good support and decent machines, assuming they work.

I would suggest going with an apple computer. It is very user friendly (for both adults and kids) and allows you to also run windows if you want.

I have stayed with Dell. They are reasonably priced, well loaded and reliable. Their customer service is excellent. The fact that they run Windows makes me cringe though.
