Puzzle toys stimulate your dog mentally, this along with daily exercise keeps your dog balanced and happy. Without this type of stimulation, the animal with become bored and start behaviors you won't be happy with ... chewing furniture, not obeying commands, anxiety, even aggression in some animals. One of the best puzzle toys you can get are 'Kongs'.

Puzzle toys are great particularly if your dog is very intelligent and has alot of energy such as with herding dogs. They keep the dog busy.

Puzzle toys usually involve putting food inside so that the dog has to interact with the toy to get the food out. They're great for a dog who suffers separation anxiety. Give them the toy just before you leave and the dog will not notice you leave. It is also a good reward for the dog.

They are really good for all dogs but more so for really busy dogs they are harder for the dog to figure out so it takes the dog more time on it than just something they can pick up and throw arond my dog loves the food toy she has she rools it all over trying to get the food.
