They believe that Jesus, both fully human and fully divine, offers salvation to believers. They recognize the Trinity and consider the Bible to be the inspired word of God. Baptism and Eucharist are the most important sacraments. They place great importance on loving God and neighbor.

Episcopalians believe that the King of England is the head of the church, with the Archbishop of Canterbury as the second head of the church. They allow divorce and remarriage. Some congregations allow gay clergy, while some conservative churches do not. Their liturgies (prayers) are very close to Catholic ones, but said in English, not Latin.

Epicopalians share many of the same beliefs as the Roman Catholic Church. These include the importance of the sacraments in worship and a hierachical organization of church government. A main difference is the ordination of married people, homosexuals, and women as priests.

Episcopalians are Anglo-Catholic. They believe that Christ is at the center, Eucharist should be celebrated weekly, reason is a gift to be used, and Christianity must be practiced in community.
