What are the average home prices in Pennsylvania?

If you live in the suburbs it'll run you around $82,000 and if you want a home out in the wilderness in upper Pennsylvania you're looking at $182,000!

Home prices vary greatly throughout the state. The most expensive homes are in southeastern Pennsylvania, with the average 3 bedroom house costing around $200,000. Homes are more expensive around Philadelphia.

You will not find a one particular average for home prices in the state of Pennsylvania. Check on the area that you are thinking of moving to and visit a real estate web site to determine the price of homes in that area. The more metropolitan the area the higher the prices, rural areas are much lower.
